Earth Network Rotary Club supports global and district grants that connect people, purpose and the planet, transforming our learning into action to protect Earth’s vital resources of air, water, land, and energy. We focus on grants that advance environmental sustainability and stewardship—especially those that address the global biodiversity, climate, and pollution crisis while supporting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Learn more about the climate solutions behind our work at Project Drawdown.

We’re currently supporting the clubs and districts that are developing these Rotary International and District grants.

Motagua River

Rotary International Global Grant in progress

The Motagua River has become one of the largest sources of ocean plastic pollution in the world, carrying significant volumes of waste from inland communities to the Caribbean Sea. Rotary clubs across Guatemala, Honduras, and Belize are working together with partners to address this crisis through waste interception, improved waste management, community education, and environmental monitoring—including critical water testing efforts.

Vocational Training and Startup Kits

Rotary International Global Grant number GG2690898

RI Global Grant 2690898 equips entrepreneurs to build businesses that strengthen communities. After 12 weeks of business training and certification, solar installers bring clean power to businesses, schools, and clinics—supporting education, health and pathways out of poverty. Seamstresses create grow-with-me school uniforms and reusable menstrual pads, helping girls stay in school while reducing waste and advancing climate resilience. Liz Henke & Nathan's District Solar Project

Rotary District 7710

Nearly 700 million people live without electricity. Solar + battery microgrids can change that quickly, powering homes, businesses, healthcare, education and opportunity. Rotarians and All We Are are partnering to build a self-sustaining microgrid in Kyayi, Uganda, not just to power one community, but to create a model that can be replicated in Uganda and beyond.

Help us power Kyayi, prove the model, and multiply the impact.
